Our favourite rappers have always talked about stashing their cash in shoeboxes.
Stuffing thousands of dollars into your sneaker box is undoubtedly cool but we didn't think it was that secure.
So we designed the Mandem Safe.
A lockable metal box that slips inside Nike and Adidas shoeboxes.
The idea went global, racking up 14k likes, 6k shares and 26k unique visits to our website all within the first three weeks with a total media spend of absolutely naff all.
GQ deemed it to be one of the coolest things in the world, rubbing shoulders with a Lamborghini Countach and the Four Season's Barcelona chairs by Mies Van Der Rohe.
Our first batch of 100 safes, designed in London and made in Blackburn, sold out in 2 hours.
Since then we have sold 300 units and were invited to collaborate with A$AP Ferg as part of his Traplord pop-up shop in Harlem, New York.
At the event we launched our Mandem Safe LX which features keyless entry and power lid which is now stocked in retailers from London to Hong Kong.
